Learning objectives

Acquiring specific knowledge related to legal consumer protection with a special emphasis on consumer protection in obligation and consumer contracts both in national and comparative law, i.e. European law.

Learning outcomes

Achieving an insight into the protection that the obligation law provides to the participants of obligation relations in which one party is the consumer and a differentiated insight into the achievements of the consumer law on the national and international level.

Course contents

Consumer protection in general, consumers and traders, European directives on consumer protection, Characteristics of consumer protection rights, content of consumer contracts, burden of proof, dispute resolution.
