Learning objectives

The goals of studying the subject are to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the law governing investments, which primarily refers to types of investments, investor status, investment models, i.e. the procedure for realizing investments and contracts governing them in individual cases.

Learning outcomes

Understanding and practical application of the basic institutes of investment law, the ability to make analyzes and draft opinions, as well as accompanying acts, both for the benefit of investors and for the benefit of public authorities, all with the aim of enabling, that is, the realization of investments.

Course contents

Public-private partnership (subject of PPP; status of public partner; contract on PPP; institutional form of PPP; contractual form of PPP; contract on PPP - term and characteristics).
Concessions (the concept and principles of the regulation of concessions in RS law; the subject of concessions; the procedure for awarding concessions; the agreement on awarding a concession - concept, elements and content; dispute resolution).
Foreign investments (status of a foreign investor - rights, obligations and privileges; forms of foreign investments; procedure for approval and registration of foreign investments).
